Eco-Charrette

One of the most powerful, effective and yet simple ways to ensure resource efficiency on a building project is to begin with a charrette.

“A well-conducted charrette pulls together people with the necessary skills and authority so that far-reaching decisions can be made quickly to save substantial time and money.”

Healthy Homes can help you facilitate the conversation, identify the priorities and promote efficient, effective teamwork. Want to build a better building? Start from the ground up, with the right team.

The charrette is a collaborative method of building planning that brings together all key stakeholders of a project for a concentrated period of time in a workshop or roundtable format. In this environment, people have the opportunity to offer and discuss their expertise, understand the expectations and concerns of other, and offer their opinions as to the direction and scope of the project.

The Eco-Charrette is designed to work with your designated team to forge a sense of unity and communication on a project, make all the team members feel vested and engaged in the project and offer a dynamic, creative environment to brainstorm and problem-solve so they can move forward with individual understanding of the big picture and the details.
